The US3000C is rated at 3.55 kWh nominal energy. The model name makes people expect a 3.0 kWh battery, but that's not what Pylontech says on the datasheet. The official spec we use for sizing (accessed January 2025) lists nominal energy as 3.55 kWh.
Usable capacity is a different number. It depends on the inverter's voltage window, the state of charge range, and the temperature. In our Halesowen installs, we usually show customers a 'safe usable' figure of roughly 3.4–3.5 kWh from a US3000C. A cable that's perfect for a network switch can still be wrong for a battery because the pin assignments are different.
